Ellen Sadler has always loved the beauty of nature, the scope of color and the subject matter to be discovered in creation. She has a special interest in the delicacy and excitement of watercolors, which she has manifested in her paintings for many years. More recently, Ellen has broadened the medium of expression of her artistic expression to include oils.
Ellen studied with Gus Baker, Stephen Kramer, Paul Zeppelin and others. She has had shows at Montgomery Bell Academy, Franklin Road Academy, Harpeth Hall and the Centennial Club. Her work has also been shown at Tennessee All-State.
Her purchased pieces are displayed in many middle Tennessee homes and businesses. Her work is shown seasonally at The Gallery of Monteagle Assembly.
